As Stromae was making his big comeback in 2021, I got in contact with the director for his new music video, who needed some illustration and design for the set backgrounds, showcasing instructions of dance and other human experiences as if they are foreign to us.
They were supposed to be a bit humorous, possibly showcasing imaginary language writing, riddled with nonsensical scientific, technical details. I created this set as a pitch and to explore the visual directions it could go.
